Datuk Ng Thien Phing, a Malaysian, born in year 1975, is presently the Group Managing Director of NTP World Group, a constellation of companies he launched in 1997 in Malaysia with offices in United States, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, UK and France. A graduate in Business Administration, he strongly believes in developing people’s potential, both in professional and personal life.
Datuk Ng Thien Phing has been actively leading NTP World Group to develop extensive businesses with his considerable experience in strategic planning. He started his first employment as a Conference Producer in Strategic Forum Expertise Sdn. Bhd, one of the largest corporate training providers in Malaysia. He has successfully organized 16 conferences and 30 public seminars a month.

In year 1998, he set up NTP World Forum to kick-start his own training business by working very closely with Petronas Group, Matsushita Group of Companies, Hitachi Group of Companies, Malaysia Mining Corporation Bhd., Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd, Sapura Holding Bhd., Bank Negara Malaysia, etc.  By end of year 1999, NTP World Forum had become the largest training provider in terms of claiming Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF). The company itself further received a written recognition from the Human Resource Minister, confirming its status as the largest training provider in Malaysia.

Besides NTP World Forum, Ng also assists in organizing and managing Malaysian government mega projects, such as The Graduate Training Initiative and The Unemployed Training Initiative for Malaysia’s Ministry of Human Resources. He has also successfully handled the Integration Program in National Service under the Malaysian Ministry of Defense. These programs made NTP World Forum to become the largest training provider in Malaysia and the leader in the sales of training services in South East Asia.

After the successful development of corporate training based company, he later ventured into an innovative solution of introducing ICT rental businesses to support the ICT functions of government and private sector. He currently sits as the Managing Director of ICT Zone Ventures Berhad, the first ICT Interest Scheme Provider approved by Malaysian government, regulated by Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) with the approved fund size of RM110 million. The company’s prudent management team has successfully gained confidence from Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) to invest RM30 million in this company.

While the training division and ICT division are operated in a stable manner, Ng has decided to explore the property development sector and his ultimate goal is to turn NTP World Development Sdn Bhd into one of the most leading property developer in Malaysia. NTP World Development is currently working on a mixed development project to develop a 40 acres land with Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM1.5 billion.

Ng has also been invited by Shenyang Province Authority, the largest city in northeast China to assist them in establishing and materializing an Islamic City in the region as China, one of the world’s fastest growing economies, has set its sights on Islamic Banking and Finance to complement Shenyang Finance Development Target 2015.

Ng currently serves as the Secretary General of The Kuala Lumpur Chinese Assembly Hall, the Advisor of Polytechnic Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (Polytechnic Shah Alam), the Chairman of National Polytechnic Youth Association and also the Advisor of NSQ Youth Club.
